Bridgewater, NJ- The Somerset Patriots have announced that they will host their annual Star Wars Night for the 2018 season on Monday, August 6th at TD Bank Ballpark. The first pitch against the Long Island Ducks is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
The Patriots will welcome members of the Northeast Remnent: 501st Legion of Star Wars Costume Organization to come dressed as some of the famous Star Wars characters. Fans will be able to take pictures during the game with their favorite Star Wars Characters throughout the game on the main concourse.
Additionally, the Patriots will wear special Star Wars-themed uniforms during the game which fans can bid on through a tricky-tray raffle. The exact details and design of the uniform will be announced at a later time, with the proceeds benefiting a to-be-determined charity.
Fans wearing Star Wars costumes or apparel will receive a $2 ticket discount for that night’s game, and enjoy Star Wars music, video clips and more.
More information will continue to be released closer to the beginning of the season.
The Somerset Patriots recently completed their 20th Season Anniversary in which they led the Atlantic League in attendance and made their 14th appearance in the playoffs. The Somerset Patriots will welcome their 7,000,000th fan in their 20th season at TD Bank Ballpark in 2018. The schedule for 2018 has officially been released.
